Nova Scotia Barristers' Library

The Barristers' Library provides current, practical Canadian legal resources to meet the basic needs of practising lawyers in Nova Scotia and the information needs of Society staff.

Resources include:

  • texts, practice manuals, journals and law practice management material;
  • case law and legislation;
  • forms & precedents collections;
  • reference resources and encyclopedic works;
  • online resources licensed for in-library use;
  • CPD (2002 to date) and CLE Society of Nova Scotia (1979 to 2002) material, some in full-text; and
  • the full text of articles published in the Nova Scotia Law News and the Society Record.
